Password Generator
Generate secure, random passwords with customizable options. Create strong passwords for accounts, WiFi, and more.
Why Use Strong Passwords?
Strong passwords are your first line of defense against unauthorized access. A good password should be:
- Long - At least 12 characters
- Complex - Mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols
- Unique - Different for each account
- Random - Not based on personal information
Password Strength
The strength of a password depends on:
Length
Longer passwords are exponentially harder to crack. Each additional character multiplies the possibilities.
Character Variety
Using all character types (uppercase, lowercase, numbers, symbols) dramatically increases the password space.
Randomness
Truly random passwords are much stronger than those based on words or patterns.
Strength Indicators
| Strength | Characteristics | |----------|-----------------| | Weak | Less than 8 characters or only one character type | | Fair | 8-11 characters with 2 character types | | Good | 12-15 characters with 3 character types | | Strong | 16+ characters with all character types |
