        <p> Kannada is a rich language. The literary    heritage of thousands of years is spectacular. Another highlight of the beauty and greatness of Kannada language is the fact that it has won the highest Jnanpith award after Hindi.So far, eight Kannada literary awards have been honored with the Jnanpith Award, making Kannada the highest language of Jnanpith award. </p>

  <h3> Kuvempu: </h3>
   <p> The first Jnanpith award was presented to Kannada Puttappa's. He is best known by his nickname 'Kuvempu'. His full name is Kuppalli Venkatappa Puttappa. He was awarded the Jnanpith Award in 1968 by the Central Sahitya Akademi for his work "Sri Ramayana Darshanam".

Kuvempura's popular dramas are Jalakaar, Cemetery Kukrukshetra, Shudratapasvi, Beralu Korale His poetry anthologies include panchajanya, bird, peacock, etc. Law has also produced novels Subbamma Hegkadagi and Bride in Malay. His memoir is 'The Memorial Boat'.

<h3> D.R.Bendre: </h3>
<p> Ramachandra Bendre (DA Bendre) was born on January 31, 1886 in Dharwad. "Nakuthanthi" is a collection of poetry by D.R.Bendre. For this, Bendre was awarded the Jnanpith Award in 1973.

The major works of Ambikatanaya Dattataka are poetry collections such as Krishnakumari, Gari, Nakuttanti, Sakhi Gita, Nadalilee, Uyyale, Alamuramala, Nakutanti, Ba Tenara, Suryapana, Murthy and Kamakasturi, Heart Sea, Free Kantha, Sangha, Uttarayana. Over 20 prose collections such as Balabodhe, Paraki and Poetry. He has authored many literary works such as Literary Criticism, Literary Research, Ideological Manjari, etc. </p>

<h3> Sivarama Karanth: </h3>
<p>Born on October 10, 1902 in a fort near the Kundapur taluk of Udupi district, Shivarama Karantha was a mature educator. His work 'Mookajji Kanasalu' has won the Jnanpith Award.He was renowned as the greatest novelist, artist, nomad, journalist, environmentalist, filmmaker, dancer, photographer, and encyclopedia of the ten genres of literary culture.</p>

<h3>Masti Venkatesha Iyengar:</h3>
<p>Masti Venkatesha Iyengar, popularly known as 'Jana Janaka', one of the Kannada Jnanpith Award winners, was best known by the nickname 'Srinivasa'. Jnanpith received his comprehensive contribution to Kannada literature.
<br>
In Kannada literature, Masti was coined as 'Kannada property'. The kings of Mysore gave him the title of 'Rajaswesaktha'. One of Masti's most important works is the short novel Veera Rajendra. Another 'Chennabasava Nayaka', the rise and fall of the dynasties is the story of them. Other works by Masti include big stories like Seshamma, Subbanna. Poetic works by Gaudara Malli, Ramanavamy, Mooka's children, Sunita, Binnaha, Taavere malara, goodness, sankranti, human.</p>

<h3> Dr.V.Gokak: </h3>
<p>  Dr. VK Gokak is one of the pioneers of Kannada literature. He contributed immensely to the field of language, as in literature. Vinayaka Krishna Gokak was better known as VK Gokak. Jnanpith received his comprehensive contribution to Kannada literature.

'Bharata Sindhu Rashmi' is the work that led Dr. V Gokhakari to receive India's greatest literary award, Jnanpith (1990). The epic is in two volumes and contains 12 continents.</p>


<h3> Dr.U.R.Ananthamurthy: </h3>
<p>The sixth Jnanpith Award for Kannada was presented by Dr. U.R. Ananthamurthy. Ananthamurthy is best known as a short story writer and novelist. Jnanpith received his comprehensive contribution to Kannada literature.

His literary career began in 1955 with the story 'Never Ended'. His storylines include Q, Mauni, Sky and Cat, The Horse of the Sun, Five Decades (comprehensive). His novels are Samskara, Bharatpur, Avastha, Bhava, Divya. Consciousness and Environment, Context, Efficiency, Prerequisites, Why Naked Worship, These are reviews. Fifteen verses, grandfather's shoulders, his poetry of Mithun.</p>

<h3> Girish Karnad: </h3>
<p>Girish Karnadar was born on 19 May 1938 in Matherna, Maharashtra. Girish's first work is a play 'Yayati'. The play earned him great praise and publicity. Jnanpith received his comprehensive contribution to Kannada literature.

While Huttinhunja and Agni and Rain are traditional dramas, Tughlaq, Pandal and Teipusultan plays have historical backdrop. Dramas involving folklore, Hayawadana, Nagamandala. The social drama Anjumallige, Girish Karnader's plays have been performed in English, Hindi, Marathi and Indian languages. In addition to producing dramas, he is also popular as a performer and director in theater and film.</p>


<h3> Dr.Chandrasekhar pillar:</h3>
<p>Dr. Krishnan was born on 2 January 1937 in Ghodageri, Hookkari Taluk in Belgaum district. Chandrashekhar was born. Jnanpith received his comprehensive contribution to Kannada literature.

The most important works created by the pillars are poetry, smiles, tantrums, tinkerers, a thousand shade, silverfish, eagle songs, chakori. Plays - Chasing Eye, Narcissus, Jokumara Swamy, Challah, Kitty, Jai Siddha, Wild Horse, Dog. Novel - Anna's younger sister, Karimai, Jake Master's romance, Singareva and Palace. Folk - The folk theater of North Karnataka, Sangyabalya, painted and singing, Matala Lingaway.

Fundamentals

HTML Elements and Attributes

  • HTML element is everything present from start tag to end tag.
  • The text present between start and end tag is called HTML element content.
  • Anything can be a tagname but it's preferred to put the meaningful title to the content present as tag name.
  • Do not forget the end tag.
  • Elements with no content are called empty elements.
  • Elements can have attributes which provides additional information about the element.
  • In the below example, href is an attribute and a is the tag name.

  • HTML Tables are defined in <table> tag.

  • Javascript is used in HTML pages to make them more interactive.
  • <script> is the tag used to write scripts in HTML
