Account permanency and code privacy
I have found this: "We are working on providing private programs which will be rolled out soon for registered users"
Is there no code privacy?
I mean, if i wanted to share a code with a friend, it would always share to the world?
As i can see in this "wall" thing, even anonymous people are showcasing their codes.
Not ranting, just curious, i'm just confused, do that mean everything i code here is showcased to everyone? Or is it just public at my profile, but not showcased and also not private for those who visit my profile?
And i couldn't find any way to delete my account, not that i exactly want it, but it is kinda strange that i have an stuck account from an website that showcases anything i write and i don't even knew it.
Maybe this website should warn about this privacy thing and account non-deletion before we do things here. :/
Not that i wrote something personal... But if i did thinking it was all cool?

Hello Sophia, Firstly tanks for taking time and asking the questions you had.
We have rolled out the private codes feature. As a logged in user you can hide the programs(code) you have written by following steps.
1. Click the edit icon on the code title
2. No you can choose the visibility options (Public/ Private/ Unlisted) from the following dropdown
Choosing private/ unlisted will hide the code from wall and even on your profile when other users are checking your profile.
Coming to the account deletion. We are currently not supporting the account deleting from the UI, but you can always reach out to us for the account deletion and we will take care of that.
Thanks,

Please help, I'm trying to make my code public and used the instructions above, I switched the dropdown to "Public (Everyone)" and then I tried logging out and checking my profile to see if it's there, but there is nothing. I logged back in to check the visibility of my code, and it said it was private. I kept switching it back to public, and it was always changing back to private. If someone could make it public for me, download this
index.html and then copy everything from the index.html, paste into onecompiler, make the code public, and share the link with me. Does anyone know why it keeps switching back to private?
