How to format numbers in Google Sheets to show as Indian currency?

I want to show the numbers in Indian currency i.e with the following rules

  1. Add Rupee symbol
  2. Commas by Thousands, Lakhs, Crores etc

Use the following custom formula

[$₹][>9999999]##\,##\,##\,##0.00;[$₹][>99999]##\,##\,##0.00;[$₹]##,##0.00
